I was looking for this video for a long time-- thank you Justin for finding it. This is my favorite fly fishing personality in amazing form-- I wish I was this eloquent when expressing my excitement over a big fish:
My new goal-- say this as often as I can: "I'm a fire in the rain"

Awesome viedo you think he likes to catch fish, got the whole flyfishing thing down it's not just the catching of fish but the whole package fly selection, the water (lake or river),then matching wits with the fish.
ReplyDeletePlayed a little hooky yesterday. Fished for abut 5 1/2 hrs and only hooked about six or seven fish. I lost every fish and was dumbfounded as to why. I guess being so excited to hook the next fish I never sharpened my hooks. They were flies that were previously used and didn't sharpen them before I began fishing. I have my hook file in my pack but it wasn't visable. Went home, drilled a hole in it and am puting it on my vest IN PLAIN SIGHT! Brian how do I ost picture on the blog. I'm not a techie so bear with me.
ReplyDeleteDavid: I just can't get over how excited he gets-- it's like he can show on the outside what I'm feeling on the inside when I hook a fish.
ReplyDeleteMickey: yeah I use a hook file a LOT. About the photos-- you can't post them in the comments section (but you can post a link to them) and to upload them to your blog you simply sign in, click "new post" and then in the compose dialog box you put your text and there is a little icon above that will let you browse to the saved location on your computer and upload... there's a ton of tutorial stuff online too...
Brian,
ReplyDeleteAlthough I got into fish yesterday I was a little confused at one point during the blue-winged olive hatch. During this particular hatch I didn't get any of my hook ups onthe small imitaions for this hatch aat any level ecept the surface which was not happening anyway. Any suggestions for this type of situation? Here's one pic of a 19" rainbow fro February. Idid it!!
That guy is straight cracked out. Running, kneeling, hair whipping all around. It sounds like someone punched him in the throat. Rock out with your c*$k out!
ReplyDeleteHe is now the BONEFISHWHISPERER...he has a web sight and i think he's getting his own local show.....BIG TIME salt water guy now. Very smart when it comes to fishing. I used to talk to him all the time when www.hook.tv's forum was up and running smoothly. Will have to do a search for his web site.
ReplyDeleteSON... I am fire in the rain... This is the hippied, fly fishing version of Jimmy Huston meets Hulk Hogan. Who wouldn't give this DUDE a show...
